Salat (Prayer) requires that a person read/recite “Al-Faatiha,” [chapter one] and any other part of Quran in prayer. These seven verses of Al-Faatiha are required. A very good choice to read in prayer along with Al-Faatiha are the four verses of Chapter 112 “The Purity of The Faith;” short [four verses] but very comprehensive in meaning, conveying the Uniqueness of Allah and the unity of belief in Him.

Forbidden Times of Prayer
Muslim (1373) narrated that ‘Uqbah ibn ‘Aamir al-Juhani said: “There are three times at which the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade us to pray or to bury our dead: when the sun has clearly started to rise until it is fully risen, when it is directly overhead at midday until it has passed its zenith, and when the sun starts to set until it has fully set.”
The color Red used for the time of Sunrise is done so only to highlight the fact that prayers at this time are forbidden.
