PRAYER OF THE PROPHET

PRAYER OF THE PROPHET – FOR THE WORLD AND THE HEREAFTER

O Allah! Improve my religious life, for that is my refuge;
أللَّهُمَّ اصْلِحْ لِى دِيْنِى الَّذِى هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أمْرِى

And improve my worldly life, for I have to live it;
وَ أصْلِحْ لِى دُنْيَاىَ الَّتِى فِيْهَا مَعَاشِىْ

And prepare me for the afterlife, to which I shall have to return;
وَ أصْلِحْ لِىْ أخِرَةَ الَّتِى فِيْهَا مَعَادِى

And make this life a means to achieve every kind of good;
وَ اجْعَلِ الْحَيَوةَ زِيَادَةً لِّىْ فِيْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ

And turn death into a blissful repose from any evil.
وَّ اجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَاحَةً لِّىْ مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ
