Years ago when I first began striving for my college degree, new to Islam, eager to learn visiting Africa and the Mid East, I had the sincere desire in my quest to prove that Muslims had no involvement in the African slave trade. Yet the Truth dispelled my unlearned presumptions I held for my love of both Africans (Africa) and of Muslim’s who along with the rest of the world played major roles in slavery as participants in the enslavement of Africans to one degree or another. – Mr. Harun Jihad Bilal
